Intermittence

Here are two photos.

One bill is for the meal Donnell and I had at the TGI Friday’s restaurant at DFW. The other is for the meal enjoyed by the young soldier eating alone nearby, who was on his way home for a brief time to see his kids.

I’m sure he could have easily afforded to pay for his own meal, but $17 plus tip is a small price for Donnell and I to pay to show some of the gratitude we feel for his service.

I hope we helped make his vacation a little better.
