Carcassonne

It was first a walled city in France, then a German board game, and now an Xbox 360 game.

It’s the first Xbox Live Arcade game that I’ve been willing to spend money on, and Donnell and I played several games last night. What a blast!

The idea is simple: You take turns laying down bits of French countryside, containing various combinations of pasture, city walls, roads, and monasteries, and points are earned as each is ‘completed’.

All in all, it’s great fun—$10 well spent. Read the rest of this entry »
